The Iran Building and construction industry exhibition (IRAN CONFAIR) is the largest event in the construction sector, held last year in an area of over 30,000 square meters, with 380 capable domestic and foreign participants. Experts estimate that this year’s construction exhibition in Iran will have more than 40,000 square meters of space, making it one of the most significant construction exhibitions in the Middle East.

According to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, Iran requires the construction of 1.5 million new housing units annually to meet population demands and improve living conditions.

Last year, 300,000 new housing units were constructed in the country, marking a 15% increase, while investment in construction projects reached 550 trillion tomans, reflecting a 22% growth compared to the previous year. Given these factors, the construction industry in Iran has significant potential for production and investment due to the ongoing demand for housing and new infrastructure, and the Tehran Construction Exhibition is planned to achieve these goals.
