How much electricity do Iran’s power plants generate?

According to the latest published statistics, the total capacity of the installed power plants in the country last year compared to the previous year, increased by 2.2 percent to 85 thousand and 313 MW.

In the energy sector, last year, with a growth of 5.1 percent compared to 1398, Iranian calendar year, reached 343 billion kilowatt hours, of which 337 billion kilowatt hours were related to the production of power plants of the Ministry of Energy, the private sector and the rest belonged to big industries.
